The Torspec PC101 Torque Limit Control Option is mounted to the 5001TCP speed control board. Used in press drive applications, it automatically limits the output torque of the eddy-current drive when the AC motor current becomes excessive. The limit point is adjustable from 30 to 200% full load motor torque. A 0 - 5A input signal from a current transformer is used to monitor the AC motor current. Current transformers are selected and determined by the "Horse Power" of the AC motor

The 16 preset options have been factory adjusted to give a nominal performance. The 1274TCP is a "Drop-In- Replacement" for the 1274P and 1268P. The 1274TCP incorporates course and fine adjustments of the minimum and maximum speeds and adjustment of the speed output signal not available on the 1268P.

The Torspec 1038TCP versatile controller can be used for any duty where a set level is to be compared to an actual value. This includes transducer inputs (4-20mA or 0-10V) sensing pressure, flow, temperature, position etc., also motor current via a current transformer (0-1A). It can be used as an optimizer for motor current control in a system designed to maintain the best possible system operating level for the prevailing conditions. Basically the controller will accept a manual or automatic set level signal and compares it with an input of the actual operating condition. The output is proportional to the difference between these two signals and is used to control the variable speed drive, in conjunction with its own speed control.

The Torspec 1212TCP torque control board can be used as a manual torque control or used in a radius sensing, winding application. This controller is not capable of speed control. If speed control is required, use the Torspec 5001TCP. The 90 Volt DC output is derived from an SCR controlled by a current feedback circuit, which minimizes error due to coil temperature and resistance changes. The number of trim potentiometers are kept to a minimum for easy setup. The terminal strip incorporates a quick release construction for easy board changes. The Torspec 1280/1281TCP load sharing control system can be used in conveyor applications requiring two or more drives on the same conveyor. This system is designed to share the load and equally compensate for changing load. The 90 Volt output is derived from an SCR controlled by a current feedback circuit, which minimizes error due to coil temperature and resistance changes. The system functions as a multi-drive speed control with the addition of a secondary control loop sensing the load on each drive. A signal then created from the summation amplifier on each secondary panel attempts to equally share a balance load between the drives. If only one speed control is required, use the Torspec 5001TCP. The number of trim potentioneters are kept to a minimum for easy setup. The terminal strip incorporates a quick release construction for easy board changes. "Drop-in-Replacement" for the 1280/1281P.

The Torspec S5702TCP controller is a 5001TCP chassis mount controller, which has been modified for use as an inverse speed controller for eddy-current brakes. Where the load drives the brake beyond the set speed, it is detected by the S5702TCP and voltage is applied to the brake in order to bring the brake to the set speed.

Designed for use with the Torspec 5001TCP chassis mount controller, the Torspec Jog Option Board can be adapted to any drive requiring a separate adjustable jog speed. The Torspec Jog Option Board provides run and jog relays for use with momentary contact push buttons, a jog potentiometer and a terminal strip for easy wiring. An additional feature gives about a 6% increase in speed when a switch is closed.

Now you can control drives remotely up to 150 feet with the Remote Control Operators from Torspec International. Currently used outdoors in the aggregate industry, this operator consists of a hand-held transmitter the size of a garage door opener and the receiver is mounted in a NEMA cabinet with an attached antenna and Torspec controller. So as long as a speed button remains depressed, the speed will continue to increase (faster) or decrease (slower). Channels can be configured to suit your particular requirements and additional channels can be provided for other functions. Outputs of 0-10VDC or 4-20mA can be provided from the Remote Control Operator to control a D.C. drive or variable frequency drive.

RM1402
The Torspec RM1402 is a remote controller used with Torspec controller that gives the user the ability to control the drive from a separate location. The RM1402 is made up of a speed pot and dial, off/on switch and LED mounted to a remote plate. This can be mounted to an existing panel or can be purchased with enclosure.
